Pilates is a system of physical and mental conditioning that improves physical strength, coordination, endurance, strength and flexibility.  The main focus is to strengthen deep abdominal, hip and back muscles with emphasis on proper spine and hip alignment.  Pilates is great for everyone, beginners, new moms, individuals recovering from injuries or athletes looking to enhance their performance.
 

YOGA

Derived from the Sanskrit word "yuj" which means "to unite or integrate".  Yoga is a uniquely effective way of integrating exercises that strengthen the body while at the same time increasing flexibility.  Mindful breathing is incorporated alongside a range of poses to create a comprehensive mind/body experience.  All classes are instructed with a strong emphasis on alignment and doing what is right for your individual body and needs. You will leave feeling invigorated, with an open heart, and peaceful mind.
